LE SPECTACLE<\/strong>
Le pianiste am\u00e9ricain Joachim Horsley, qui s\u2019est fait conna\u00eetre sur le web en 2016 avec son
ph\u00e9nom\u00e9nal \u00ab\u00a0Beethoven in Havana \u00bb, un arrangement de la 7\u00e8me Symphonie de Beethoven dans un style cubain, est de retour avec Afro Bach.
Un nouvel album hommage \u00e0 Bach, toujours r\u00e9arrang\u00e9 \u00e0 la sauce afro-carib\u00e9enne.
Le virtuose et compositeur de musiques de film signe l\u00e0 le 3\u00e8me \u00e9pisode de sa trilogie Via Havana, d\u00e9but\u00e9e avec un premier album en 2019 puis un deuxi\u00e8me en 2022.
Apprendre et ma\u00eetriser les \u0153uvres les plus complexes et techniques du r\u00e9pertoire classique europ\u00e9en (Mozart, Beethoven, Saint-Sa\u00ebns, Malher\u2026), puis les arranger suivant les codes esth\u00e9tiques des musique latines (jazz cubain, salsa, rumba\u2026) sans d\u00e9naturer les \u0153uvres originales, ni tomber dans l\u2019appropriation culturelle des musiques du monde.

BIOGRAPHIE <\/strong><\/span>
Multi instrumentiste, compositeur, arrangeur et chef d\u2019orchestre, Joachim Horsley est avant tout un pianiste am\u00e9ricain hors pair qui use de son instrument de pr\u00e9dilection pour emmener son
public hors de toutes fronti\u00e8res musicales. Apr\u00e8s avoir travaill\u00e9 pour Disney, HBO et Warner sur les BO de \u00ab Big City Greens \u00bb, \u00ab Gordita Chronicles \u00bb, \u00ab Batman : Soul of the Dragons \u00bb, ainsi que sur plus d\u2019une trentaine de longs et courts m\u00e9trages, Joachim Horsley d\u00e9voile son ambitieux projet solo : arranger et r\u00e9interpr\u00e9ter sur des sons et rythmes afro-carib\u00e9ens, les \u0153uvres des plus
grands compositeurs de musique classique. \u00ab C\u2019est comme un monde imaginaire o\u00f9 Beethoven, Chopin et Mozart vivraient \u00e0 La Havane plut\u00f4t qu\u2019\u00e0 Vienne \u00bb explique Joachim. \u00ab Pour moi, c\u2019est une fa\u00e7on de revoir de vieux amis dans un contexte nouveau, et de donner au public une nouvelle fa\u00e7on d\u2019\u00e9couter la musique classique et la musique cubaine \u00bb. L\u2019id\u00e9e de ce projet a germ\u00e9 en 2015, apr\u00e8s que Joachim (anciennement \u00e9tudiant en musique classique au conservatoire de Boston) a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 la musique carib\u00e9enne \u00e0 Cuba avec son mentor et ami Aldo Mazza. La rumba cubaine (aussi bien la musique que la culture et le charisme de ses musiciens) lui a laiss\u00e9 une grande impression et l\u2019a pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 s\u2019essayer \u00e0 la musique carib\u00e9enne. 
\u00a0C\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019est n\u00e9 en 2016 \u00ab Beethoven in Havana \u00bb, un arrangement de la 7\u00e8me Symphonie de Beethoven dans un style cubain enti\u00e8rement interpr\u00e9t\u00e9 par Joachim au piano et aux percussions. Le succ\u00e8s rapide est devenu viral, atteignant 10 millions de vues sur Facebook et 2,5 millions sur Youtube. De quoi donner une belle fen\u00eatre de visibilit\u00e9 \u00e0 son premier album \u00ab Via Havana \u00bb sorti en 2019, Beethoven \u00e9tant cette fois accompagn\u00e9 de Mahler, Mozart, Dvorak ou encore Camille Saint Sa\u00ebns. 
Son deuxi\u00e8me album, \u00ab Caribbean Nocturnes \u00bb va encore plus loin dans le croisement des cultures et des esth\u00e9tiques. Contrairement \u00e0 son album pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, r\u00e9alis\u00e9 de mani\u00e8re solitaire dans son studio \u00e0 Los Angeles, il est le fruit d\u2019un long travail en collaboration avec de nombreux musiciens carib\u00e9ens, am\u00e9ricains et europ\u00e9ens. 
Joachim Horsley travaille actuellement sur son 3\u00e8me album qui sortira d\u00e9but 2025.
